N.F.L. Says Penalty on Chiefs’ Husain Abdullah for Praying Was a Mistake

An N.F.L. spokesman said Tuesday that Abdullah, a Muslim, should not have been given a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct when he went to the “ground for religious reasons” after a touchdown.
