Tribute on Ice to Gritty Competitors Who Made Syracuse the King of the N.B.A.

Sixty years ago this month the Syracuse Nationals won their only N.B.A. title in a dramatic seven-game series. The city has never forgotten, and a local hockey team paid tribute Friday to the hard-nosed players who made it happen.
